UBUNTU translates to “I AM because WE ARE". Therefore, the individual is the reflection of the community and the community is the reflection of the individual.

OUR MISSION is to unify, educate and create real, lasting change for Africans, not only in America but worldwide, by any means necessary.

OUR PURPOSE is to liberate all of our African sisters and brothers from physical and mental bondage and fight against white supremacy.

The UCR will serve:

1. as an organization that is dedicated to the upliftment of ALL people of African descent.

2. as a vehicle to encourage involvement in the internal and external revolution of people of African descent.

3. to bring together all aspects of life for the purpose of improving the conditions of people African descent.

4. to heighten awareness and friendships of other cultures, specifically our sisters and brothers of the diaspora

5. as, most importantly, a safe haven for Black Women, Black children, Black LGBTQ+, Black Men, and all of other sisters and brothers of the African Diaspora

Our mission is to unify, educate and create real, lasting change for Africans, not only in America but worldwide, by any means necessary.

In these discussions, we are trying to revolutionize the hearts, souls and minds of our people. Our talks are based off of books we are currently reading, lectures by master black historians, psychologists, and activists, and current news events.
